John Cutter is a North American game designer. He attended Pepperdine University from 1980 to 1983, and began making games shortly afterwards. He worked as a designer and programmer for Gamestar from 1984 to 1986, mainly on sports games.


== Explanation ==
In 1986 Cutter joined Cinemaware, where he became employee #1 and went on to design and produce many of their best-known games. He stayed with Cinemaware until 1991. After a short stay with New World Computing he joined Dynamix in the same year. He was the lead designer of Betrayal at Krondor (1993).
