John Hamilton on himself (from the 'Making of Protostar' audio feature):

“I was born in Florida, moved to California and ended up in Fresno, going to a local university, Fresno State, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications. I’ve been interested in games for a very long time, ever since Pong. At home I was programming on various things like my VIC 20 my Commodore 64. After I graduated, I went to work for Sierra On-Line, where I completed King’s Quest 4. I left there to go back to university to work full-time, programming for them for a while, until I became an independent programmer for Atari. I made Lynx Basketbrawl. Immediately following that I was lured to Tsunami through some old friends of mine, came back up here and started working on Protostar.”
