About
Chris Williams, born in 1979 in Los Angeles, is a son of the legendary couple Ken Williams and Roberta Williams, founders of Sierra.
As a youngster he wrote a column in Sierra’s magazine InterAction (his first column, about The Incredible Machine and the screensaver Johnny Castaway, was published in the Winter Issue of 1992). He worked for a while for Electronic Arts on games and for a cell phone company called Dwango.
He used to travel with his father to Japan, where Sierra had an office, and he decided that he wanted to live in Japan. He spent four years there going to college and became 100% fluent in Japanese. His real love is Japanese Anime. In addition to working, he became a full-time student studying animation at a school in Tokyo.
After seven years he returned to the USA and currently he lives in Seattle. He runs a site called Aahz.com.
In March 2011 Chris is working for BrandX Games as lead engineer on the massively online social adventure game called Odd Manor.
