Updated Sierra Drivers

486SBDRV

Includes two drivers that have been designed for compatibility with faster systems:
  • MTBLAST.DRV
  • SNDBLAST.DRV
This driver will work for the following games:
This file will not work with any other Sierra or Dynamix titles. For King's Quest V choose the AdLib option and the game will sound perfect. For Space Quest IV, try slowing the system down when you start the game by turning off the Turbo button. You can speed it back up once in the game. If you do not have a Turbo button, you will need to choose the AdLib option.

AWESOL

Sierra On-Line Drivers for Sound Blaster AWE32. This contains the following files:
  • AWE32.DRV (Driver for 32-bit Protected Mode titles)
  • AWE16.DRV (Driver for 16-bit titles with GM support built-in)
  • AWE16_P.DRV (Driver for 16-bit titles that requiring a patch)
  • README.TXT (This file)
  • AWEUTIL.COM (Version 1.20, which is required for 16-bit Sierra titles)


GM patches for:

DACBLAST

Updated SoundBlaster Driver (DACBLAST.DRV) that will recognize sound cards on I/O addresses other than 220. It will work with the following games:

E29PATCH

Contains two drivers that have been designed for compatibility with 486 systems. Copy both the MTBLAST.DRV and the SNDBLAST.DRV drivers to each of your game subdirectories. This driver will work for the following games:

GENMIDI

After-market drivers for General MIDI, EMU Proteus/1, Roland D110, and Roland D10, D20 series synthesizers through the GENMIDI.DRV driver and the appropriate patch file (.PAT). This driver will work with the the games listed below.
