Update Audio Driver
Some of your audio problems in your games might be solved by simply using an updated audio driver for your game,but, sometimes you might need more help. Here are some audio utilities that may help solve some of the other problems you might encounter with some Sierra games. Some might also be useful in getting a game to work with a special configuration you're trying to use.

VDMSound
A free audio hardware emulator for DOS programs or games. Older games running under Windows 2000/XP may have no audio. This will give you sound.

A commercial Sound Card Emulator for Windows 2000/XP. $39.00, An evaluation version of SoundFX is available for download.

A MIDI driver for Windows that emulates the old MT-32 Sound Module.

SOUND BLASTER MIDI PORT UTILITY
This utility by Anders Olsson will modify Sierra games to run on an MT-32 using a SoundBlaster (or compatible) card as the MIDI interface.
SIERRA MIDI PORT CHANGER
Benjamin Carter's MIDI Port Changer changes to any port number for sound cards that use a MIDI port address other than 330H.

A patch utility from Anders Olsson that converts audio in Sierra's early adventure games to MIDI.
