Description

Lori and Corey Cole's Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire is the fifth and final installment of the Quest for Glory Series. It is also the first and only Quest for Glory game to not be developed in SCI.

Synopsis

Who would have believed it? Not only did you defend Mordavia but you also banished the evil threatening it! But at the moment of triumph, you...

But that would be telling. Suffice to say, you have come to the land of Silmaria, which - surprise, surprise - is under threat. Silmaria's king has been assassinated; mercenaries are roaming the land, forcing innocent fishermen from their homes; and an ancient prophecy is in the process of coming to light.

Brave hero, it is time to face the final test. Can YOU bring peace to Silmaria? Can YOU bring justice to the assassin and to the one who hired him? Can YOU, finally, withstand Dragon Fire?

With four classes again to choose from - warrior, mage, thief or Paladin - plus all the ability points to assign at will, you can be a hero! Best of all, each class offers different ways to solve the game, and you can export your last hero to continue the quest.

So welcome, great hero, to Silmaria. Prepare yourself to face Dragon Fire...

The first patch for QfG5. Updates Quest For Glory 5: Dragon Fire versions 1.0 to 1.1. Note: The fixes in this patch included with the latest patch (below) and is no longer needed.
This patch will update all previous versions of Quest For Glory V to version 1.0.0.2. For a complete list of issues addressed by the patch please read the readme file.
This patch is the same as the QFG5UP12 above, but will run on 64-bit Windows.
This third party patch (written by C.P.Groenveld) helps QfG5 run under Windows 2k or XP. Apply the above 1.2 patch. Then copy QfG5(QFG5Win2k).exe to your Quest For Glory V installed directory (typically C:\SIERRA\QFG5) and run it.
