Description
Niels Reyngoud' s King's Quest ZZT is a Adventure/RPG game.
King's Quest ZZT is a game, which I made together with MeBo (Who is a member of Mebo Inc, which is known from the upcoming MegaZeux game MeBo RPG). While making it, we've really tried our best to combine a good storyline, nice graphics, and fun gameplay. It's based on the King's Quest series by Sierra, but apart from pure adventure, it also has a couple of RPG elements in it, like the battle shown on the right. In these battles, the player can use up to 6 fully animated weapons/spells.

Synopsis
Ravenlos, the evil cousin of the sorcerer Manannan, is planningto conquer Daventry. You (Prince Alexander) are not willing to go fight against him and his army, until your father gets an accident, which changes your mind. You visit the old wise gnome for a medicine for your father, and after he is healed, you set off for the long and dangerous mission. Along the way you will meet strange creatures like Centaurs, Elves and Ogres and you will visit many places, like the mountains of Llewdor, the island of Tamir, the Aberian Desert, etc... King's Quest ZZT is a game which Hydra made together with MeBo (a member of Mebo Inc, which is known from the upcoming MegaZeux game MeBo RPG). While in the making, they really tried their best to combine a good storyline, nice graphics, and fun gameplay. It's based on the King's Quest series by Sierra, but apart from pure adventure, it also has a couple of RPG elements, like the famous battle engine (the player can use up to 6 fully animated weapons/spells). A definite classic these days!

A nod to the King's Quest ZZT games is made in The Silver Lining’s "The Four Winds" meta-fiction newsletter. This includes the events surrounding the Centaurs and the Ogres in King's Quest ZZT (and a nod towards ZZT2), with expanded material tying it into the Phoenix Online Studios' backstories for the wind Sirocco, Zephyr, and the wizard Crispin.[
