Description
Barry Murry and Dave Murry's Manhunter: New York is a 1988 AGI3 adventure game. It is the first installment of the Manhunter series. Both Manhunter games deviate from the standard design of an AGI adventure game. Very little typing is required and the games are first-person where you move a cursor rather than a character around the screen. The result is what could be described as an early version of a point-and-click adventure game.

Synopsis
Manhunter: New York, a foreboding science fiction epic, is the latest creation by the authors of the mega-hit The Ancient Art of War. A dark vision of our planet's future, Manhunter evolves around the life of a detective in New York Ciry two years after alien invasion and consequent world takeover. Contracted by the newly founded alien dictatorship, the detective's goal is to track human activities, monitor their movements and report subversive activities.
