New Installer
SHP New Jones Installer Setup File [1.61 MB]
- Includes updated CD Audio driver to address initialization errors. Works with both CD and floppy versions. If installing the CD version, it will Can rip and compress the Redbook Audio CD speech track to the hard drive for CD-less play. Be sure to read notes included on the installer license page. If installing the floppy version, copy the files from your floppy disks into a temporary folder on your hard drive and run this installer from that folder.
Debug Modes
Really early SCI1 versions, like the interpreter used with "Jones in the Fast Lane" still have their debugger and work just like the SCI0. The following "Jones in the Fast Lane" versions still have their internal debugger:
- Jones in the Fast Lane (both CGA/EGA/Tandy and VGA disk releases)
- Jones in the Fast Lane (CD-ROM version, only the SCIDHV executable)
