Jamie O' Connell's SBTimbre FM Editor Jamie O'Connell's SBTimbre FM Editor SBTimbre is a Timbre editor -- it lets you create and modify instrument sounds for the Sound Blaster and Adlib FM Cards. You can audition sounds using a Sound Blaster or MPU-401 compatible MIDI interface and a MIDI controller (a piano keyboard for instance), or by pressing buttons on-screen using a mouse or computer keyboard. The present version of SBTimbre operates only on IBK format bank files, but you can use the SBANK utility to convert between IBK and BNK file formats.

The current SBTimbre FM Editor is a stable release version.
Options
Option letters are case insensitive and may be preceded by either - or /. They specify the operations to perform.
-A append the specified instruments (INS or SBI files) to the named bank file. Wildcards (* and ?) may be used to select the instrument files. The bank file is created if it does not exist. Duplicate instrument names in the bank file are not updated unless the -U option also appears.
