Usage

 AUDBITS 123.AUD
     (the #bits-per-sample of 123.AUD will be reported)
or
 AUDBITS AUDIO.8 AUDIO.16 *2
     (AUDIO.8 (8-bit,unsigned) will be copied to AUDIO.16 (16-bit,signed)
or
 AUDBITS ..\16BIT\*.AUD -oTEMP /2
     all of the *.AUD files in the 16BIT directory will be copied
     as 8-bit files to the TEMP directory keeping the same name

*2   8-bit,unsigned files will be converted to 16-bit,signed files
/2   16-bit,signed files will be converted to 8-bit,unsigned files
(null) the #bits-per-samplee will be reported but not altered
